Mere Correspondence

A letter, mailed monthly, about things that don’t change.

Dear Reader,

The first letter is already written.

Before you decide what to do about that, think about what your mailbox held today. Bills, a coupon sheet, something addressed to CURRENT RESIDENT. When did it last hold an actual letter — paper somebody chose, sealed, stamped, and sent to you, you in particular, on purpose? For most of us it’s been years.

That’s what this is — a letter worth sitting down with. One idea, ten quiet minutes, on paper that doesn’t blink or buzz or ask you to click. The letters live in the mail; they aren’t on this website, and they never will be.

The first one is free. Give me your address and I’ll print it, seal it, and mail it to you — no charge, no card, no subscription. If it’s not for you, nothing else comes.

— Tim

Letter Zero. Free.

Letter Zero goes out with this week’s batch, first class. U.S. addresses only, for now. We’ll never sell your address, and we’ll never email you a letter — the letter comes on paper.

P.S. — If Letter Zero lands, the monthly letter is $15 a month, or $144 for the year. Cancel is one email; first month refunded in full. A gift year is one payment, never auto-renewed, with a printable announcement to hand over on the day. Give a year
